KOTHIMEERA KOBBARI CHUTNEY



Fresh coconut1cup grated
Kothimeera/ Coriander leaves1/2CUP
Tamarind3tbsp (pulp)
Salt to taste
Green chillies6-8
Oil1tsp
Cumin seeds1tsp
TemperingUrad dal 1/2tsp, mustard’s 1/4tsp, Red chillies 2, Curry leaves - few, Oil 1tsp


  • Heat 1tsp oil, fry cumin seeds and green chillies.
  • In a blender add coconut, green chillies, tamarind, fried green chillies and cumin and salt.
  • Grind into paste. Add little water if required.
  • Take into a bowl and give tempering.
  • Serve as chutney with any South Indian tiffins
