Fresh coconut | 1cup grated |
Kothimeera/ Coriander leaves | 1/2CUP |
Tamarind | 3tbsp (pulp) |
Salt | to taste |
Green chillies | 6-8 |
Oil | 1tsp |
Cumin seeds | 1tsp |
Tempering | Urad dal 1/2tsp, mustard’s 1/4tsp, Red chillies 2, Curry leaves - few, Oil 1tsp |
- Heat 1tsp oil, fry cumin seeds and green chillies.
- In a blender add coconut, green chillies, tamarind, fried green chillies and cumin and salt.
- Grind into paste. Add little water if required.
- Take into a bowl and give tempering.
- Serve as chutney with any South Indian tiffins
