|Cabbage||250g /2cups (roughly chopped)|
|Tomato (medium large in size)||1 (diced)|
|Coriander leaves /Cilantro||1/2 bundle (washed and chopped)|
|Green chillies||6-8 (split)|
|Garlic cloves||2 (peeled and chopped)|
|Tempering Seasonings:||Urad dal & Mustard’s- each 1/4tsp, |
Garlic cloves -2(flatten)
Red chilly -2 (into pcs) ,
few curry leaves.
Oil for tempering.
- Heat Tbsp of oil. When oil is hot add cumin seeds and green chillies.
- Add cabbage and fry for couple of minutes.. Then add and mix tamarind, tomatoes and coriander leaves. Cover and cook till tomatoes are cooked.
- Add garlic and salt and grind into fine paste in a blender (sprinkle water only if required)
- Take into a bowl and give tempering.
- Serve with hot rice.
